Louise Ayling

Sustainability Advisory Consultant, DNV GL - Business Assurance

My background as a Geography graduate from the University of Leeds led me into the sustainability sphere. I produced special interest reports for the national press, on sustainability topics including sustainable architecture and global supply chains, before moving into consulting, more specifically at Context. From here, I moved to Two Tomorrows, before it was acquired by DNV GL during Summer 2011.

I specialise in sustainability reporting with a focus on helping companies to communicate their performance and tell their story in an engaging, credible and authentic way. Other work includes stakeholder engagement and benchmarking, non-financial report assurance and business case development; in addition to materiality assessments to determine which sustainability issues matter most and how companies should prioritise these in their business strategies and communications. I also manage our sustainability training offerings.

As a consultant in DNV GL’s UK sustainability team my work focusses on delivering long term business value to our clients through the integration of sustainability with core business objectives. I focus on the development of sustainability strategies and sustainability reporting for clients in the food and beverage sector.
